we are absolutely thrilled that we're finally approaching the release of “Observing Oblivion”. It's only ten more days till the CD will be exclusively available for the first time at our CD Release Party in Weinheim.

Dear friends,
It is done!! We have just returned from the Kohlekeller Studios where we had the mix and mastering done. And wow … once more we can only say that we are more than pleased with what we're holding in our hands right now. The release is still scheduled for early 2011 by our friends and partners in Supreme Chos Records.
As we already told you, we once again wrote a concept album. But don't worry: There's no reason to expect it to sound like “Through Forests …” Part II.
Of course it is still 100% DES but where as our last lyrical concept required some rather “dreamy” and spherical moments and the whole album was more or less composed as one whole unit, this time we focussed more on brutality, massive grooves and aggressive intensity and the respective songs stand more for themselves. But wait till you get the chance to listen to the songs yourselves.
The next step will be the completion of the cover artwork and the booklet to go with it, so we hope we can tell you more about that in the near future. You can also expect some video impressions from the drum and guitar recordings. So keep checking our profile for updates.

| Studio Update #1|
Dear listeners and supporters,
We have some good news to announce as we have finally finished recording our upcoming CD! It was hard work once again to get everything recorded but we all feel the result was worth every single second of the whole process.
Our drummer Corny who is also our producer really did an amazing job. And this time we really took our time to first find the right sounds and especially for the guitars we tried out several amps as we felt that the guitar sound in general was something we could further improve as compared to our previous releases. We finally ended up using a combination of the engl Richie Blackmore, an Orange amp and the LaBoga Mr Hector and our perseverence really payed off. So this is also the time to name and thank some guys without whom this progress would not have been possible and we were really lucky and honored to have gotten some expert advice from our long-time friends Ingo Maier (Fragments of Unbecoming) and Chritoph Brandes (Iguana Studios) as well as our friend in Never Void Stefan Braunschmidt.
So now we can hardly wait to let you guys listen to the first songs. But you will have to be patient for at least another few weeks as we're just about to get everything mixed and mastered. We'll be back shortly with some update on the mixing as well as some further information about the album in general. So stay tuned. We'll talk to you soon.

| Songwriting Finished |
We have
just returned from a one-week’s stay at our Supernova Space Explosion Studio
and are happy to announce that after months full of creativity, passion and
dedication we have finally finished the song-writing process for our upcoming
album, which is scheduled for an early 2011 release.
We’re also about to put finishing touches on the lyrics, which – as for our previous release “Through Forests of Nonentities” – will once again center round our alter ego, the Dead Eyed Sleeper.
So this is a really emotional and exciting moment for us and we can hardly wait to record the album as we are more than pleased with the songs we wrote and we feel that they have a great flow to them. But we’ll let you know more about their respective qualities and attributes in the near future.
Right now, we’re looking forward to the festival season and to taking some time off to spend with our families and friends before we prepare to enter the studio later this year.
